Ms. Rachel is a NYS certified music teacher and mama of 3. After teaching music in schools across WNY for eight years, Ms. Rachel has been a stay-at-home mom the past four years. After raising her young kids, she has developed a deeper understanding of the ages and stages of child development, and a new passion for working with “littles”. She loves connecting with and encouraging other moms and has lead multiple Mommy & Me small groups. Teaching Music Play is the perfect role for Ms. Rachel—combining her love for music and love for young children.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, concentration in voice / Buffalo State University

• Early Childhood Level 1 Certification in Music Learning Theory

• Ms. Rachel has 8 years of experience teaching music in both public and private schools in the WNY region.

• She trained in the Choral Institute at Oxford, an intensive choral conducting program at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England, where she applied Music Learning Theory in the choral setting.

• She brings years of experience teaching private voice and piano lessons.

• Ms. Rachel loves singing and is a worship leader at her church in Tonawanda.
