Music Play is based on Music Learning Theory (MLT), which explains how humans learn music. Think about how little ones learn a language: they listen to it, learn to speak it, learn to read it, then write it. Learning music is the same way!

Music Play is an approach to help guide children through their earliest years of music development by providing an immersive music environment for children to explore. In Music Play classes, infants and toddlers hear and absorb a variety of songs and chants, some with words and some without words. Children and caregivers alike are encouraged to sing, move, and play along!

We use a variety of props and instruments, including scarves, bells, parachutes, puppets, and MORE. Families will learn how to play with one another in a fun and musical way—all while hearing and learning to speak the language of music.
